Looking for bands who want their album released...
I'm currently looking for bands that want to make their album available online free of charge. I'd like to host your music as MP3 files at 320kbps with no DRM.
What's the catch?
There isn't really a catch. I'm not asking for money to host the files, and my "payment" would be the traffic driven to my websites. Any profits generated by ad-clicks or donations will be put back into my hosting account to keep expanding.
If you are interested please contact me using the following e-mail address:

Printed Circuit Boards
The printed circuit board tutorial is one way to transfer a circuit layout to a copper clad board. My method uses the toner transfer method, and the toner that is transferred to the copper clad board acts as an etch resist. Any area of copper that is not covered by toner will be eaten away by etchant. I prefer using my method to the "photo" method because I don't need light boxes and developing chemicals. If you have access to a laser printer, magazines, and an iron (preferably a laminator) you can get started with my method right away without much cost or special provisions.
DIY Screen Printing...
If you want to do a short run of t-shirts on the cheap check out the screen printing tutorial on the right of this page. My wife started making shirts using this method back in '03-'04 and posted a tutorial in the "craftgrrl" community at livejournal.com. You get pretty nice results, it's cheap, and it isn't very time consuming. She has even made halloween costumes for us and our Jack Russell Terrier. Click here for the link to the livejournal thread.

Hello and Disclaimer
I really hate blogs, but I wanted to create something that would make it easy to share with fellow musicians and audio geeks. I'll be trying to post a few times weekly, and this blog is going to be a potluck of things that the true DIY'er should appreciate. I've already linked to drum samples, gog files, and impulse responses that I've collected over time. There are also links to a tutorial I wrote to make PCBs on the cheap, and a tutorial my wife originally wrote for a LiveJournal community a few years ago that shows you how to screen print on the cheap.
I plan on using the huge amount of webspace that I have to host music for independent musicians, recording tutorials, gear builds, and anything else I think the music world might find useful. If you feel I've helped you out please feel free to donate.
